Empowering Creativity Through Upcycling
Proudly partnering with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. Including Queens Academy, to provide hands-on workshops in upcycled fashion. Participants learn how to transform clothing they already own into original, runway worthy designs while exploring creativity, sustainability, and self-expression. By teaching innovative design techniques and giving new life to existing garments, we empower individuals of all abilities to see fashion as both an art form and a tool for positive change.

At the Downtown Camden Art Crawl on Market Street, Camden Fashion Week transformed the sidewalk into a community runway where everyone had the opportunity to be a model. Golden Jean also designed a custom statement jacket for the event, celebrating creativity, fashion, and community engagement.
